Krystal Hooper handles a wide range of class action settlement administrations stemming from securities, mortgage-backed securities, employment discrimination, and wage & hour cases.  Ms. Hooper uses her can-do attitude, keen attention to detail, and diligence to ensure cases are handled accurately and efficiently.  She works on some of GCG’s most complex and high-profile cases, including most recently, the In re Bear Stearns Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates Litigation.  Ms. Hooper joined GCG more than five years ago to handle the Deepwater Horizon Settlement, in which she audited claimant files and assisted in DOJ investigations.  She was promoted to Supervisor on the file audit team, and then transitioned over to GCG’s East Coast Operations as a member of the Quality Assurance team where she also works closely with GCG’s Seattle and Ohio Operations teams to keep processes consistent.

Prior to joining GCG, Ms. Hooper started her legal career at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, as an associate in their Real Estate group gaining experience in financing and development transactions.  She then worked as an eDiscovery attorney with positions of increased responsibilities and duties, which included her work with Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman LLP, working on a multimillion dollar fraud investigation as a Team Lead, providing guidance to approximately 40 legal team members in their review of files.
