During the course of his long and successful career, Mr. Cutshaw has excelled in a wide spectrum of work and leadership environments, including C-level business management, law partnership, academics, entrepreneurial ventures, government management, political management, and foreign policy.   Prior to assuming his role at GCG, Mr. Cutshaw served as President, Chief Development Officer, and Chief Legal Officer of the global restaurant chain Quiznos, a premium sandwich restaurant concept.  Highly regarded for his global franchising expertise, Mr. Cutshaw was responsible for Quiznos’ franchise expansion in over 30 countries and the largest franchise arrangement in history with a 1,500 unit opportunity in China.  In recent years he also chaired an advisory group offering Global Network Growth (GNG) strategies.   Earlier in his career, Mr. Cutshaw was a partner at a U.S.-based law firm, where his practice focused on international transactions.  He has taught a graduate global business course and law courses at three universities over two decades.

Mr. Cutshaw was a key participant in the international development of export control policies after the dissolution of the Soviet Union while working as a Senior Executive with the U.S. Government during President Ronald Reagan and President George Bush Administrations. He was an executive of The 1982 World Exposition, and is a co-founder of the post-Soviet private university Georgian American University in the Country of Georgia, where he served as its first Dean of Law and Provost.
