Gretchen Eoff

Gretchen Eoff is responsible for complex case oversight and supervision of many of GCG’s most high-profile matters.  During the past eight years at GCG, Ms. Eoff has held critical operational roles in complex cases including the $1.425 billion Stryker Modular Hip Settlement, the more than $500 million General Motors Ignition Switch Defect Litigation, the $20 billion Gulf Coast Claims Facility, the $10.3 billion BP Deepwater Horizon Settlement, the Engle v. RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. Trust Administration, and the $100 million Chase Check Loan Settlement.

Most recently, Ms. Eoff is leading GCG’s administration of the Stryker Modular Hip Settlement which includes claim and medical documentation intake processes and multi-stage award determination processes. Ms. Eoff was responsible for the creation of Settlement program training manuals and processing procedures for GCG’s administration and supervises the legal and medical team that has reviewed thousands of claims, including tens of thousands of medical records.  Additionally, Ms. Eoff managed phases of GCG’s administration of the GM Ignition Switch Compensation

Ms. Eoff was responsible for the creation of settlement program training manuals and processing procedures for GCG’s administration, and supervises the legal and medical team that has reviewed thousands of claims, including tens of thousands of medical records.  Additionally, Ms. Eoff managed phases of GCG’s administration of the GM Ignition Switch Compensation Fund, for which GCG designed the claim forms, created and maintained an online filing system, and handled claim intake and processing.  She was also involved in GCG’s administration of the Engle Trust Fund, for which GCG was recognized for helping thousands of Florida smokers in obtaining medical records and missing information in order to cure deficient conditions in their submissions.

 

Projects involving a large volume of class members is a particular area of expertise for Ms. Eoff.  She has managed, among other cases, the more than 33 million class member Gehrich-Chase TCPA Settlement, the 2.1 million class member Farmers FCRA Settlement, and the Chase Check Loan Settlement, in which GCG mailed notice and distributed payments to more than 1 million class members.  Ms. Eoff is also currently managing several lender-placed insurance settlement administrations involving collectively more than 4 million class member insurance policies.
