On April 18, 2003, petitions for for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code were filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois by Gateway HomeCare, Inc. and 7 of its related subsidiaries. The cases are jointly administered under case number 03-17457 (JPC) and is assigned to the Honorable Jacqueline P. Cox. A meeting of creditors has been scheduled for June 3, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at the Office of the United States Trustee, 227 West Monroe Street, Room 3330, Chicago, Illinois 60606. The Debtors' representative is required to appear at this meeting for the purpose of being examined under oath. Attendance by creditors is welcomed, but not required. The meeting may be continued or adjourned from time to time by notice at the meeting, without further written notice to creditors. The Debtors also seek entry of an order authorizing them to sell substantially all of their assets in accordance with a certain Asset Purchase Agreement with Apria Healthcare, Inc. or to a successful competing bidder, if any, at an auction sale, and, in connection therewith, approving the Debtors' assumption and assignment of certain executory contracts and unexpired leases.
