On April 1, 2008, Diamond Glass, Inc. and DT Subsidiary Corp. (the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the "Bankruptcy Court"). The cases are assigned to the Honorable Christopher S. Sontchi.
Pursuant to an order dated July 16, 2008, (the "Bar Date Order"), the Bankruptcy Court set September 8, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. prevailing Eastern Time (the "General Bar Date") as the last date to file a claim against the Debtors for any debt that arose prior to April 1, 2008. The Bar Date Order set September 29, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. prevailing Eastern Time (the "Government Bar Date") as the last date for a governmental unit to file a claim against the Debtors for any debt that arose prior to April 1, 2008.
On August 15, 2008, the Debtors filed their Chapter 11 Plan of Liquidation and accompanying Disclosure Statement. The hearing to consider approval of the Disclosure Statement is scheduled for September 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with objections due on September 9th.
Moreover, on August 15, 2008, an order was signed by the Bankruptcy Court amending the caption of this case to reflect the Debtors' name change to DG Liquidation Corp., et al.
