This Website Provides Information About a California Class Action Lawsuit against Exel Direct/MXD
Plaintiffs in the case—Daniel Villalpando and Tafiti Shekur—are past and present delivery drivers of Exel Direct/MXD. They claim that Exel Direct/MXD has been misclassifying its delivery drivers as independent contractors, and thus has failed to reimburse them for the ordinary costs of business, as well as denying them overtime, meal and rest periods, and other benefits to which employees are entitled.
Plaintiffs seek to represent a class of delivery drivers who worked with Exel Direct/MXD between June 2008 and the present.
